This article describes the packaging instructions for a Hatch All-In-One (AIO) Computer. Please note you will need to speak with a Hatch customer support specialist before sending your computer in for repair.
Note: Any damages in shipment due to improper packaging will be added to the repair cost. Do NOT include the keyboard, mouse, power cord, or any other accessories when shipping the computer back for repair.
1. Insert the computer in the provided antistatic bag
2. Place the provided foam end cap on a level surface and carefully turn the computer on its side and place it inside the end cap so the screen is facing the shorter end of the end caps
3. Next, install the second foam end cap. Again, make sure the screen is facing toward the shorter end of the end caps, as shown in the following image:
4. Lay the 2 foam inserts in the bottom of the provided shipping box
5. Carefully place the computer screen face down into the box so the foam inserts protect the screen.
6. Seal the box with shipping tape and call Hatch customer support to schedule a pickup via FedEx for the following business day. Please have your ticket number ready when you call. The FedEx delivery driver will have a return shipping label at the time of pickup.
