This guide explains how to manage Wi-Fi connections on your Hatch™ tablet. Follow the steps below to make sure the tablet maintains a stable connection and remains secure.
1. On the Play screen, check the lock icon in the upper right corner. If it’s locked, tap the icon to unlock. If it’s already unlocked, continue to step 3.
2. After tapping the lock icon, the Unlock Hatch box will appear. Enter password “h@tch” (without the quotation marks) and then tap Unlock.
3. Tap on the three dots in the upper right.
4. Tap Tools from the drop-down menu. (Note: Some devices may say "Teacher Tools.")
5. Tap the Advanced WiFi button.
6. On the Settings page, tap Network & internet.
7. On the Network & internet page, make sure Wi-Fi is toggled on and then tap where it says Wi-Fi.
NOTE: Steps 8 and 9 should only be followed if a previous Wi-Fi entry needs to be removed.
8. Tap on the gear icon to the right of the Wi-Fi entry you’d like to disconnect from and remove.
9. Tap Forget (trashcan icon) to remove the selected Wi-Fi profile.
10. Tap on the Wi-Fi entry you’d like to connect the tablet to.
11. Enter the password for the selected Wi-Fi and then tap on the check mark button.
12. Verify that the tablet is now connected to the specified Wi-Fi, then tap either of the back buttons (one is in the upper left and one is at the bottom).
13. On the Network & internet page, tap either of the back buttons again.
14. On the Settings page, tap the back button at the bottom of the page.
15. On the Tools & Utilities screen, tap either of the back buttons.
16. On the Play screen, tap the lock icon in the upper right to lock it.
17. Confirm that the lock button is now locked again.
Hatch tablet Wi-Fi management is now complete.
