For Hatch™ Tablet Models 101S, 102S, and 103S
The instructions below will walk you through factory resetting your Hatch Tablet. This will restore the device back to factory settings and remove any passwords, pattern locks and PIN codes associated with the device.
Note: If a Google account was added to the tablet, that will need to be removed by the owner of the Google account first (https://support.google.com/android/answer/7664951). If you cannot remove the Google account, call Hatch Customer Support at (800) 624-7968 option 4.
1. Power Off the Tablet:
- Press and hold the power button and choose "Power Off"
2. Boot into Recovery Mode:
- Press and hold the "Vol+" button and the Power button simultaneously until you see small white text on the left side of your screen.
- Use the "Vol+" button to change selections until the arrows are pointing to [Recovery Mode] then press "Vol-" to enter recovery mode.
3. Navigate to Factory Reset:
- Use the volume buttons to navigate through the recovery menu options.
- Press the "Vol-" button until "Wipe data/factory reset" is highlighted and press the power button to select.
4. Confirm the Reset:
- Use the volume buttons to navigate to "Factory data reset" and press the Power button to confirm.
5. Reboot the Tablet:
- Once the reset process is complete, navigate to "Reboot system now" and press the Power button to reboot the tablet.
6. Complete Setup Wizard:
- Complete the Android setup wizard to reconnect the tablet to the internet. (See: Hatch™ Tablet (103) Device Setup Instructions)
