Tablets that will not charge often won't power on, even after they seem to have been plugged in for some time.
Here's how to troubleshoot a tablet that won't charge:
- Ensure there is no visible damage to the charger, charging cable, or charging port on the tablet. If the charge cable has any bends or visible damage, please replace it immediately.
- Plug a known working USB-C charger into the tablet to see if the charger is the issue.
- Press and hold the power button on the tablet for 30 seconds. This button is on the top-right corner of the device. This button will force a restart on the device and attempt to power it back on with the remaining charge.
- Allow the tablet to charge fully overnight. Ensure that the charging cable is properly connected to the device and the power outlet.
