AI Data Summaries help educators and administrators quickly understand student performance data and identify areas that may need additional support. The summaries provide a concise overview of progress, highlight students who may need support, and recommend areas to focus on based on the data in the report.
Where can I find AI Data Summaries?
AI Data Summaries are available in the following Insights reports:
- Ignite School Progress Report
- Ignite Class Progress Report
- Ignite Child Progress Report
- Ignite Child Skill Detail Report
On these reports, you'll see a new Analyze with AI button.
Generate an AI Data Summary
Select Analyze with AI to generate a summary of the data in the report. The summary provides a concise overview of student progress, identifies students who may need additional support, and recommends specific areas to focus on.
AI Data Summaries are typically 2–4 sentences and are based on the data available in the report.
On the Ignite Child Progress Report, you must first filter the report by a specific class before you can generate an AI Data Summary.
AI Data Summaries may take a few seconds to generate. You don't need to wait for the summary to be ready before reviewing your report.
After selecting Analyze with AI, you can continue viewing and interacting with the report while the summary is generated. Once it's ready, the summary will appear on the page.
AI Data Insights Dashboard Tile
Eligible organizations may see a new AI Data Insights tile on the main Insights dashboard. This tile provides quick access to AI Data Summaries for classes and children.
The AI Data Insights tile replaces the Growth or Alignment tiles for eligible organizations.
About AI-Generated Content
AI Data Summaries are generated using the data available in the corresponding Insights report. They are designed to help you quickly understand the data and identify potential instructional next steps.
AI-generated content may not always be accurate. Review the summary alongside the underlying report data before making instructional decisions.
Manage AI Data Summaries
Organization Administrators can control access to AI features from the Org Settings page.
Admins can turn AI features on or off for each supported report individually, allowing organizations to customize which AI features are available to their staff.
AI features are enabled by default. When an admin disables an AI feature for a report, the Analyze with AI button will no longer be available for that report. Related AI Data Insights dashboard content will also be removed for users in the organization.
AI Data Summaries are available to organizations with the feature enabled and to users who have access to the supported Insights reports.
