If you need to learn more about the checkpoint options please see: [Org Admins] What Are the HatchSync® Checkpoint Options?
IgniteTable is a tool to support collaborative play and executive functioning. As children play, IgniteTable records play and tracks touch; educators can observe this data in Hatch Insights™.
To help support different program data requirements, we have created an additional setting for HatchSync® that allows organization administrators to tell us when and how they want to send documents to GOLD®.
By default, we will send documents to GOLD unleveled to help support teachers as they collect documentation. We encourage you to review the documentation we send, along with the recordings in Insights, to ensure children’s skills are evaluated correctly.
You can change this setting by editing your HatchSync connection card. Under Additional Settings, you'll find the other options for sending documentation.
- Send all skills played with level (regardless of observation status): Coming soon! This will send a document when the child plays a skill, and it will send this skill with a level.
- Send all skills played but do not level them in GOLD: This is the default option. If your connection is already set up because you have HatchSync for Ignite by Hatch™ and no changes are made, then this is what we will do. You can send documents as children play but without a level so that teachers can determine the level on their own.
- Only send if educator has indicated skill as observed in Hatch Insights: You can choose to delay sending documentation until teachers have marked the skill as "observed" in Insights on the Skill Observations page.
- Don’t send IgniteTable documents for this connection: You can choose not to send documents for IgniteTable. This can be helpful if you want to ensure that documents are not sent for a specific connection.
