You can easily see and preview all the games offered on IgniteTable. The Explore Experiences feature in IgniteTable shows you exactly what kinds of skills your children will learn as they play. You can even use this tool to play the games without affecting a child's play data and progress, which is perfect for practicing or experiencing more advanced skills ahead of time.
How Do I Access the Explore Experiences Feature?
First, go to your IgniteTable and log in if required. On the next screen you see, you should find a gear icon in the lower right-hand corner. Tap the gear and then tap the numbers in ascending order.
This will get you into the teacher area. Here, you'll find a cloud labeled "Explore Experiences." Tap the cloud to continue to this feature.
How Do I Use the Explore Experiences Feature?
On the first page of Explore Experiences, you'll find buttons to help you find the game you want based on Domain and Subdomain. Once you've selected the Domain and Subdomain you're interested in, you'll see the experiences that cover that Domain and Subdomain.
On the right-hand side, you'll see an image of the game with the game name, game description, and a skill descriptor, which is the skill the child will be able to demonstrate with the experience.
Once you've found a game you're interested in seeing or practicing, click Play below the image.
Note: Experiences played from the Explore Experiences feature do not record video of or gather any other data from the children who play them.
Next, you'll see a screen to select how many children will be participating. IgniteTable must be used with at least two children at a time. After tapping an option, you will be taken into the game to play.
Instead of child photos in the hubs, you'll see our wonderful host characters. When the game is over, you'll be taken back to the Explore Experiences screen.
