This article covers how to install Ignite by Hatch™ on iPads, Android devices, Chromebooks, and Windows 10 devices. There a couple of things to note before continuing: Devices like the Hatch™ Tablet and All-in-One computers from Hatch™ come with Ignite already installed. Also, your organization may use a device management system; in these cases, your organization may install Ignite for you.
To use Ignite on mobile devices, you must install the mobile app, which is available on the iOS App Store and the Google Play store. Chromebooks, laptops, and other desktop computers can access Ignite from the Internet, without needing to install the app.
Note: The following videos may not show the exact screens you will see, but the steps are the same for all.
iPads
- Open the App Store.
- Search for "Ignite by Hatch."
- Install the Ignite by Hatch™ app on your device (you need at least 2 GB of free space to install it).
If you're having trouble finding the app in the App Store, verify that your device meets our minimum requirements.
Note: You will need your Hatch™ login information. If this will be your first time logging in, then you should find a temporary password in your email. If you cannot find the email, reach out to your administrator or teacher to get an account created.
Android
- Open the Google Play store.
- Search for "Ignite by Hatch."
- Install the Ignite by Hatch™ app on your device (you need at least 2 GB of free space to install it).
