Windows 10 End of Support:
Windows 10 support ends on October 14, 2025, after which it will no longer receive security updates, new features, or technical support, making it vulnerable to threats. To remain secure, users should upgrade to a new Windows 11 PC, or for those who cannot, they have the option to enroll in the paid Extended Security Updates (ESU) program after that date.
Windows 11
Windows 11 is the currently supported version of Windows by Microsoft.
For any device to be able to have Windows 11 a license must be purchased through a Microsoft approved retail channel and the device must meet the hardware requirements set by Microsoft:

Which Hatch Devices?
Hatch devices that shipped with Windows 10 include
All-in-One Computers,
Interactive Tables
and Interactive Displays
Some of these may be eligible to be upgraded to Windows 11 without replacing or modifying the Compute unit, while others may need to purchase a new Compute Unit due to the Windows 11 hardware requirements.
To determine device compatibility organizations should collect what information they can about the Hatch devices they own that are currently in service (number of devices, original order/invoice numbers, serial numbers) and reach out to Hatch Customer Support:
- via phone: 1-800-624-7968, option 4
- email: Support@hatchearlylearning.com
- by clicking the 'Submit a Request" Link at the top of your screen.
- Additionally, Administrators can reach out to their account manager at Hatch to get started.
Once device compatibility is determined, organizations should make a decision based on the age of the device and their unique situation, which option below best suits their needs.
