Teachers can create and edit their Daily Activity Plans from anywhere using Hatch Insights. These plans can be synced to IgnitePanel, where activities can be launched during the day.

Important: You must be logged in to IgnitePanel using your teacher credentials for your Daily Activity Plan to sync correctly. This feature will not work for users who access IgnitePanel without logging in.
Step 1: Log in to Hatch Insights
Use the same email and password that you use for IgnitePanel to log in to Hatch Insights.
Step 2: Navigate to the Daily Activity Plan
From your dashboard, click the Daily Activity Plan tile, or hover over the Skill Support menu and select Daily Activity Plan.
Step 3: Select or Create a Group
Groups are an organizational tool you can use in a way that fits your classroom needs. You might create a group to represent your whole class, separate classes, or even small groups you work with throughout the day.
- If you only have one group, you’ll automatically start planning for that group.
- If you have multiple groups, select the group you want to plan for first.
- If you don’t have a group yet, you’ll need to create one before you can add activities.
Step 4: Browse and Add Activities
On the left side of the page, you’ll see a list of activity categories from IgnitePanel.
- Click a category to view available activities.
- Some categories have subcategories to help you filter further.
- Click View Activity Details to see lesson plan information and standards alignment.
- Many activities include multiple skill levels. Use the green number buttons to select the appropriate level.
Note: Activities cannot be launched directly from Hatch Insights. To play an activity, you’ll need to open the IgnitePanel software on your interactive display.
Step 5: Choose a Date
On the right side, you’ll see the calendar.
- Any previously added activities will appear here.
- Click a date to select it—selected dates will be outlined in blue.
- You can plan ahead by selecting future dates.
- To remove an activity, click the Remove button next to it.
Step 6: Add an Activity
Once you've selected a day:
- Find an activity you'd like to add.
- Click Add to Selected Day to include it in your plan.
Step 7: Save and Sync
When you're done planning:
- Click the Save and Sync button.
- This will ensure your planned activities appear in IgnitePanel the next time you log in.
