Did you know that your table automatically makes a daily backup copy of all videos, ratings, and child information (photos and names) you have entered? This requires no action from you.
Use this panel to initiate a backup of this information manually. If you experience data loss, you can restore a backup file (.bka) as your active class using the Manual Restore buttons.
To view data from the previous year without making it your current class, go back and use the Archive button.
Set Automatic Backup/Archive Location
This function allows you to set the location where automatic backup files (.bka) are saved. The location will appear below this button as a reminder. By default, this will be set to "W:\Hatch," which is a location on the external hard drive you received with the table. To back up to this location, the hard drive should be connected.
Automatic Restore
This function allows you to restore the last automatic backup. Warning: The restored class will take the place of any class data currently in your reports. Proceed at your own risk.
Manual Backup (no videos)
This function allows you to save a copy of child details and ratings but not videos. (This process will be faster than backing up with videos.) The system will prompt you for a location to save the backup.
Manual Restore (no videos)
This function allows you to restore a previously saved manual backup file (.bka) of child details and ratings but not videos. Warning: The restored class will take the place of any class data currently in your reports. Proceed at your own risk.
Manual Backup (with videos)
This function allows you to save a copy of child details, ratings, and videos on the system. The system will prompt you for a location to save the backup. Note: If the system has been in use for many months or years, this process can be slow and produce a very large file.
