Using the Daily Schedule Activity
The Daily Schedule activity in IgnitePanel by Hatch™ helps children learn about routines and transitions throughout the day.
To get started, go to Daily Routines and select Daily Schedule, then click Play Now.
Read the first slide with your class to learn about the purpose of the activity.
On slide 2, you’ll see a sample classroom schedule. Tap any activity to hear its name read aloud.
Ask children to come to the board and drag the activity cards into the correct order for your classroom routine.
Throughout the day, return to this schedule during transitions. Move the clock icon to show when it’s time to begin the next activity. Tap the clock to hear “It’s time for . . .” Then, tap an activity to hear the activity's name (e.g., “It’s time for lunch”).
You can also add the current date to the screen, if you’d like, using the marker tool.
Customizing the Daily Schedule Activity
If you’d like to tailor the schedule for your class, you can edit it using the Make It Your Own Template option.

Find Daily Schedule under Daily Routines, click the Additional Resources button, then click Make It Your Own Template.
Before you start making changes, make sure the arrow icon is selected.
You can double-tap any text to edit it with your keyboard. Adjust the font or style using the pink text icon in the top-left bar.
Slide 2 includes detailed editing instructions that you can refer back to at any time.
On slide 3, you’ll find your blank template. Replace the sample text with activities from your own classroom.
To add images, tap the camera icon and choose from the provided options. You can also upload your own by selecting the My Files button.
Drag the photo you want onto the slide. Resize images by holding the "shift" key while dragging a corner.
Once you’ve added your text and images, group each event card together. Drag your finger across the background, image, and text to select them, then tap the arrow button beside your selection. In the drop-down menu, choose Group selected items. Repeat this process for each event card.
If there are any cards you don’t need, select them and click the trash can icon at the top.
You can also add your own recordings for each activity. To do this, follow the steps in Creating and Adding Audio Files to Your Activities in IgnitePanel by Hatch™.
Select all of the cards and click the arrow button to open the drop-down menu. Select Lock / unlock selected objects. Then, click Lock and clone selected objects(s). This will enable the cards to be duplicated by simply sliding them.
When you’re finished, click the “e” menu in the top-right corner and choose Save as. Save the file to your My Content folder.
To use your customized version, go to My Content in the IgnitePanel Teaching Guide and select your saved Daily Schedule activity.
