What Is Curtain Reveal, and How Do I Use This Feature?
The Curtain Reveal feature adds an interactive element that enables teachers to hide part of an answer or a whole answer!
For example, let’s pretend you have an activity in which children are asked to guess the second word in a compound word. Curtain Reveal enables you to hide the second part of a compound word, such as hiding "ball" in the word "baseball." Children will see the word "base" (and the word "ball" is hidden by the curtain). As they guess the second part of the full compound word, you can slide the curtain to reveal "ball."
To Access and Use the Curtain Reveal Feature, Please Follow These Steps:
Step 1: Open a Teaching Guide activity, and locate and select the EasiTeach™ menu icon
in the top-left corner.
Step 2: From the drop-down menu, click View modes to expand the menu.
Step 3: Select Curtain reveal from the menu choices.
Step 4: Using the "handles" on the screen (where the red arrows are pointing in the following image) enables you to move the curtain shade up and down or side to side. To remove the curtain, select Curtain reveal again.
Note: The title of the Curtain Reveal feature may vary based on your device version (i.e., Hide & Reveal or Curtain Shade).
