As of 11/20/2025, the most recent version of IgnitePanel by Hatch™ is v1.2.0. Updating IgnitePanel to v1.2.0 will ensure that all users have the latest activity details, enhancements, and bug fixes.
What’s New in IgnitePanel and Insights by Hatch™
This release includes major improvements to activity alignment, clarity, and usability across IgnitePanel and Insights. Our Content and Research team completed a full review to ensure that activities match the latest research and are consistent with Ignite and IgniteTable by Hatch™. Here's what's new.
Better Alignment Across Activities
Activities are now clearer, more accurate, and easier to use:
- Updated names and ordering for some categories, subcategories, and activities
- Clearer and more consistent lesson plans, including added pages for activities with multiple skill levels
- Updated learning objectives and child outcomes to match language used across all Hatch® products
- Improved activity descriptions, now shown both on the activity tile and inside the activity
- Added thematic tags to support future search and filtering features
New Language Filter
You can now filter activities by language in the Browse by Standard feature. The default is still All Languages.
Support for Old and New Versions in Insights
Insights now displays accurate information even when organizations use multiple versions of IgnitePanel.
Activity Report:
- A Bundle Version column shows which version each activity came from.
- A Bundle Version filter appears only for users who have activity history across multiple versions.
Utilization Report:
- Version filtering appears only when needed.
- Users with a single version will see the same streamlined report as before.
Easier Activity Previews
Clicking an activity image in the Daily Activity Planner now opens a slideshow of all activity pages. This helps teachers preview activities quickly before adding them to their plans.
