For more information about what you'll need to get started with IgnitePanel by Hatch™ and what each role in Hatch can do, see Getting Started With IgnitePanel by Hatch™.
Set Up Your Account
To get started with IgnitePanel, you'll need a Hatch admin or another administrator at your program to add your info to your school. Once they set up your account, you'll receive a welcome email from Hatch with a temporary password to help you log in.
The Let's Go! button in the email will take you to the Hatch Insights™ login screen.
On this screen, enter your email address (the same one where you received your welcome email) and your temporary password found in the welcome email. Click Log In.
Next, you'll be prompted to create a new password. Your password must be more than six characters. After setting up your account, you can get started creating your organization.
Set Up Your Organization
When you first log in, you'll see a pop-up directing you to your Setup Assistant. The Setup Assistant is your dedicated checklist to help you keep track of all your rostering tasks.
When you go to the Setup Assistant, you will see personalized setup tasks related to your role and the Hatch products your organization uses. In this article, we'll focus on programs that only use IgnitePanel.
On the Setup Assistant page, you'll find all the tasks you need to complete to onboard your program. To the right of each task, you'll find different options for rostering. You can also find support articles to help you with these options below.
Note: With IgnitePanel, school admins and classes are optional but can be helpful when completing setup or organizing your program. You may also notice options to add children in Insights, but this is not required at this time.
Steps 1–4
Steps 1–4 are all about rostering. We've provided some helpful articles to help you complete each step:

Delegating Tasks
As an organization administrator, you can decide to set up the entire organization or delegate steps to other org admins, school administrators, or teachers. You can delegate tasks to all members of your program, but only other org admins can assign tasks to you.
All setup steps will need to be completed in Insights. School administrators can roster teachers and classes in their school(s). Teachers can create their classes unless you disable this option on the Organization Settings page. For more information about the roles in Insights, visit Hatch Insights™ Roles Explained.
To assign a task from the Setup Assistant, click the Delegate Task button.
After you click this button, you'll see a pop-up that will allow you to select from existing members of your organization to assign the task. For example, you may want your teachers to create their classes, so you can delegate that task to them.
Once you delegate the task, you will see the following message highlighted in orange:
Your teachers will see this task highlighted on their Setup Assistant like this:
Support Your Teachers in Getting Set Up
To complete Step 5, you may need to assist your teachers in getting set up. When you add teachers to your program, they will automatically receive welcome emails and instructions to log in to Insights. Ensure they do this before using IgnitePanel. After they've logged in to Insights, they can use the same email and password to log in to IgnitePanel and start using it in their classroom.
