What Is IgniteTable?
IgniteTable by Hatch™ provides a collaborative learning experience for children to engage with peers while building social–emotional learning (SEL), communication, and prosocial skills. As young learners play, IgniteTable automatically captures authentic work samples and data so that teachers can spend less time administering SEL assessments and more time focusing on the specific SEL skill areas that are crucial for each child’s success in school and beyond!
The power button is located under the table, to the right of the power leg. The power leg has the cable connected to it. Locate the power button and press it once. Once the system is on, the power leg button will illuminate blue.
First, you must exit the IgniteTable application, then using the Windows Start menu, you can power off the device.
Exiting the IgniteTable Application
1. Touch the gear icon located in the lower-right corner of the screen, then touch the buttons in numerical ascending order.
2. This will allow you access to the teacher area.
3. Touch the Exit to Desktop button located in the lower-left corner of the screen.
4. Touch the Yes button to exit the IgniteTable application.
Powering Off the Device
1. Locate the Windows Start menu at the bottom of the screen and touch it once.
2. Touch the power button icon.
3. Touch the Shut down option.
4. Your device will now power off.
Once your IgniteTable license purchase is complete and your account has been created, you will receive a welcome email from Hatch. The welcome email will contain a temporary password to help you log in. The button in the email will take you to the Hatch Insights™ login screen. On this screen, enter your email address (the same one where you received the Hatch welcome email) and your temporary password found in the welcome email.
An organization administrator can decide to set up the entire organization or delegate steps to school administrators and teachers. However, you'll need to at least set up your schools and add school administrators before you can hand off the setup. The IgniteTable surface may be cleaned with an ammonia-free household cleaner or the provided Hatch cleaning kit. Please do not use any abrasive cleaners, as they will damage the surface and void the warranty of the product.
