ClassLink Users - Easily Add Your Children to Hatch
Connecting your Hatch account to ClassLink allows you to easily and automatically roster your children, teachers, and families into the Ignite by Hatch learning platform. Taking advantage of the Single Sign-On (SSO) offered removes the need to manage separate usernames and passwords - ensuring that the right user can access the right application seamlessly, at any time.
What is Roster Sync?
Information isn't static, and keeping all of your systems up to date with the latest information can be a challenge. Roster Sync keeps your roster information up to date with the latest changes - coming directly from your SIS, to ClassLink, to Hatch - ensuring children, teachers, administrators, and families always access the most up-to-date data available.
What is Single Sign-On?
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows a teacher, administrator, family member, or child, to log in to ClassLink (using username/password, QR code/badge, etc.) and then access Hatch applications, such as IgniteTM or Insights, without needing to log in again. Not only is this incredibly secure and allows you to centrally control who has access to what, but it also saves the need to remember multiple different usernames and passwords.
How it works?
With the correct setup and permissions, Hatch is able to automatically pull the roster data that you share with us from ClassLink into the Hatch systems. When you install the Hatch apps in your ClassLink portal you can also use single sign-on to keep your users from having to keep track of different applications' account information.
