Ignite by Hatch™ will track the time played for each individual child within the Ignite™ application.
-
To begin playing Ignite™, children log in independently by touching their photo twice. To maintain independent play by the children, teachers can observe the profile being used by noting the child’s photo in the top left corner of the screen, as shown below.
-
Time on task refers to the time your child is playing a Core Experience, free play, or Guided Practice. Time on task does NOT include login/logout time or the time the child uses to personalize their buddy.
-
Time on task for each child can be found in the Class Play Time report inside Hatch Insights. You can find this report by first logging into Hatch Insights. Then hover over Reports and you'll see options for playtime reports. To see individual child playtime, click the Child Play Time link.
- These playtime reports could also be used to help figure out if a child is logging in as someone else when they play. By looking at the reports you can see which children may not be playing as much as they should or which children are playing a lot more than they should.
- Insights will also provide recommended play schedules on the teacher dashboard within Insights based on the time played that week.
